520 _aThis thesis addresses the optimization of the control of Double Powered Asynchronous Machines (DFIM), highlighting their advantages and the associated challenges. Particular attention is paid to the integration of advanced control methods to overcome the non-linearity of the DFIM mathematical model and ensure optimal performance under various operational conditions. The first chapter provides an overview of DFIMs, highlighting their modes of operation, advantages and disadvantages, as well as the most common system configurations. The second chapter focuses on the modeling of the DFIM, with a detailed analysis of the machine and its power system, including the vector control method. In the third chapter, sensorless control techniques are explored. The last two chapters present sensorless control strategies, with emphasis on observers and load speed and torque estimators including sliding mode control and the backstepping control approach, illustrated by simulations. In conclusion, a general summary of the results obtained is provided, putting into perspective the implications and future perspectives of this research
